It's the dirtiest place I ever stayed in. The carpet in the hallways and in the room was just filthy. The bathroom ... not clean. The air conditioner not clean. Drapes had a portion falling off, etc., etc., etc......
First room assigned to me had a toilet that made a horrendous noise for well over 3 minutes before the noise stopped. Requested another room which was accommodated. That toilet also had a loud noise after flushing, but, I tolerated it because it didn't last as long. Heard trains during the night and people walking around upstairs and throughout the halls. Breakfast was terrible, donuts, coffee, juice, cereal and bagels. Not very fresh. Rooms are very outdated with old furnishings. Bedding seemed cleaned enough though.
they had plenty of rooms available. probally because its not a good hotel
room smelled like algae, no plug in the sink, stains on the floor, poor selection of food for breakfast
The staff weren't very helpfull and the room wasn't very clean
The woman at the front desk when I checked in was nice. The next morning, Bree was very helpful
Elevator didn't work and I had to carry luggage upstairs. No plug for the tub. Hotel next to railroad tracks.
A good WiFi reception.
We booked (in January 2015) two rooms with this hotel assuming it was Americas Best Value Inn. When we got there (in July 2015), however, we noticed it had changed to royal inn! Nothing, however, about it was Royal! We were first assigned two rooms which we noticed did not have hot water for taking showers!. When we complained, they gave us two other rooms which had hot water!! However, when we got ready to go to bed and rolled back the bed covers we saw crumbs, pubic hairs and blood stains on the sheets! Obviously they had not changed the bed sheets after the previous customers had used the bed! Upon complaining all they did was give us new sheets for us to put on! In short, it is a terrible place even for the modest rent of ca. $70 a night. It is the worst place we have ever been to. Avoid it if you can.
The room was good size and had everything we needed
Location - near RR tracks with noise during the night. Floors are not soundproofed so we couldn't go to sleep until the people above us stopped walking around
Location was half the distance we needed to travel
Trains run very close and during the night they sound their horns, some of which were loud enough to knock me out of bed! Up above us it sounded like a sumo wrestler practicing his jumps all night!
There close by store gas station , supermarket, and walking distance to the casino.
No wifi access, room was ok but not maintained well.ac units didn't work so well and was making a lot of noise. Not a very secure building access.it looks pretty run down.
Location and convenience.
I was not alone in bed – there were green crawling bugs in bed and another variety in the tub. This place is filthy. Got sick in the night from food poisoning contracted at a local restaurant which was recommended by the front desk person. Deferred maintenance is everywhere – big pieces of trim missing from around the door, etc.
The room was well equipped - iron, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, loveseat and coffee table as well as a desk and chairs.
The room had a very unpleasant odor and was not very clean. The back entry door was so filthy you could barely see through the glass.
Not very secure. Rooms are in need of serious repair. Lamps stained and ripped, frig needed defrosted barely worked, carpet pretty dirty, coffee table falling apart, couch dirty. Breakfast was sparse but can understand since there was only 3-4 people staying at hotel so would be hard to judge food amounts. Also wondered why we should pay a deposit for our dog when our dog was cleaner than the room.
